10 Must do's in Pokhara Lakeside
1 Enjoy a walk around the Fewa lake, visit Khaudipaudi, Sedi, Pame villages. Have a lunch of fish curry, rice, dal and salad.
2 Hike to Sarangkot through jungle and village life. Or take a taxi up for an early morning sunrise or afternoon sunset. You can easily walk down or return by bus or taxi.
3 Take a paddle in a row boat, okay you can canoe boat. Views are even better from the lake. You might rent a kayak if your prefer stealth. Visit the Stupa.
4 Take a day hike around the Damn Side area, meander through the park and gawk at the high snowy mountain peaks bloating out the sky. Visit the Stupa.
6 Visit Begnas Lake by bus or taxi, take a nice cool swim in the pristine waters, eat local fish.
6 Eat 'Dal Bhat' at open of the many lake side restaurants just as Almond's or try some Italian pizza.
7 Rock the night away listening to Nepali Rock Bands at the Busy Bee Cafe or the Amsterdam.
8 Take a bus or taxi and hike to Lampus and Potlana at the start of the Trekking trail, spend the day there and come back in the evening.
9 Relax in Sheelas bakery; drink hot milk tea and eat roasted yak cheese sandwiches. Also try the German Bakery for chocolate cake.
10 Go in to Pokhara City, Mahendrapul is the main shopping area and market. Experience really Nepali urban life.
11 Hang will locals and buy some stuff!
